Our fibre network isexpanding. Through assistance from the SWIFT program, 
Hay is adding to our network north east of Exeter, as well as areas west of Hwy #4 to Mt Carmel. We expect start offering services to new customers in 2022.
Growth to Current Customers
It’s not only new customers benefitting from our fibre network. We have also increased the number of current customers on our fibre network. Some areas we are currently connecting to fibre include the Village of Dashwood and the Village of Grand Bend south of the bridge. Several subdivisions are also getting a fibre-to-the-home upgrade including Bayview, Sunnyridge, Lakewood Gardens, Maple Grove, Sunnyside, Kingsmere & Gravelle. NEW Technology = NEW Service
Early in 2021 we launched a new way to deliver TV services – Xstream TV is an app based streaming service. This technology offers the newest features and simplifies your content viewing experiences by putting all your possibilities in one place. Load the Xstream TV app on your chosen 
supported media player so you can select what you want to watch quickly without changing inputs. We have begun to consolidate our TV services so all our customers are on Xstream TV. We will be working through each town and village sending notifications and the deadline to convert. No worries, this system is easy to understand and we have designated a person solely to help you learn the service.
MEET ASHLEY Williton, Xstream Technician Lite
Ashley is heading up the customer contact, education and set-up portion of your conversion to Xstream TV. She will be travelling with a technician if needed to make sure your Xstream TV is set-up and ready for you to stream your favourite channels. Some of the things she can help solve or assist you with are account set-up and registration, learning new features, connectivity, channel packages and more. If she doesn’t know the answer, she will get it for you.

Logan aspires to be a Lawyer in Huron County. He has helped our community by Volunteering for five years as a Firefighter in Hensall. On technology in his field of study and chosen career, Logan states “As technology continues to develop, statistical software packages will make being able to manipulate data easier. Caity Bartlam
Brescia University College – Double Honours Major in Kinesiology and Psychology.
Caity aspires to use her education and knowledge as a Teacher. She is an active volunteer for The Dance Movement in London. Her thoughts on technology: “It is essential that teachers stay up to date on technology in order to use new tools to assist their students in learning. This is especially important when working with children with special needs.”
Brooke Kobe
Nipissing University, Bachelor of Science Nursing
Brooke’s eventual goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner, although she is also hoping to work as a Certified Registered nurse on a paediatric oncology unit. Who knows where her path will take her but she suspects it will ultimately be in the Grand Bend area.
She volunteers as a coach for 3 on 3 ringette tournaments and at the CanSkate program run through the local North Bay Ringette association. She has also volunteered at YMCA youth summer camps as a team leader.
Brooke’s thoughts on technology in nursing; “Technology can help in reducing human error with nursing. With that said, technology makes routine procedures simplified, to aid in the prevention of error. 
Examples include automated IV pumps as well as newly advanced medication carts. Kirsten Schellenberger
Fleming College – Fish and Wildlife Technician
Kirsten is pursing a career as a Conservation Officer although she realizes there are many steps to take to achieve that goal.
In our community 
Kirsten has volunteered at the Zurich Agricultural Society Fair, as well as helping out at Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre for 4 years.
Her thoughts on Technology in her chosen field. “We are able to have smaller more accurate equipment in the field and we are able to research things that were once impossible. A new technology is putting chips in migratory song birds. Then as they fly by certain towers the chip pings and we can see where the birds are going and how far they travel in a day.”
