Seasonal Suspension of Services
You can put your telephone, TV and internet on suspension ONCE each calendar year for a maximum of 6 months. You will retain your telephone number and you will not have to return your modem or set-top boxes to the office. SmartHub and click Report an Issue/Inquiry, then Other Issues/General Inquiry, and then select On/Off Seasonal Suspension 2. Send an email to hay@hay.net and request your services be Seasonally Suspended. Include the date you want the suspension to start and the services you want suspended.
There are two ways to request your services be put on suspension. 1. Login toPlease do not call the office to put your services on vacation. We require a WRITTEN request.
A one-time fee will apply
•If you are suspending phone service the fee is $57 and includes suspension of TV and/or Internet if required. •If you are NOT suspending phone service: TV suspension – $20 Internet suspension – $20Services automatically reconnect after six months. Call the office 1 business day in advance to reactivate them sooner. You must request service suspension EVERY year. If you have a security system that relies on phone service, you will need to keep your phone active. You must have pre-authorized payments set up in SmartHub to suspend services. Please unplug your modem, router and set-top boxes to protect from lightning strikes.
