Connecting Families Initiative

About Connecting Families

The Government of Canada introduced its Innovation and Skills Plan in 2017. The Connecting Families initiative is a part of a suite of digital skills, accessibility and internet affordability programs that aim to bridge Canada’s digital divide.

This initiative will enable and encourage the participation of more Canadians in the digital world, including those not fully comfortable with digital technology, so they too can benefit from innovation and the opportunities it brings.

Hay Communications is proud to be participating in the “Connecting Families Initiative”. As a participating ISP, Hay Communications is voluntarily offering two internet packages to eligible people.

NOTICE: Beginning March 1st, 2024, Hay Communications will be aligning the speeds of the 2 levels of service offered to customers on “Connecting Families” with the Government of Canada’s standards that are in place for this program.
