Annual Meeting

You must be a member of the co-operative in order to vote. If you are not a member, call the office. There is a $1 fee.

Henry Vander Burgt and Tony Decorte have met the requirements to be members of the Board of Directors and will act as Directors for the next 3 years.

It has been a privilege to serve the Hay Communications membership as a Board member. I believe we have all realized how truly dependent we are on having a fast and reliable Telecommunications and Internet system. Hay Communications is a leader in each of the offerings it has to its members, but I believe where we stand above all other providers is our customer service and local face to face interactions with our members. Local leadership is the key to determining what you the members want, and in turn, we can react to these wants and needs much quicker than other providers. I will work to keep our company growing and prosperous in the years to come.  

I have been farming on Highway 21 just south of St Joseph since 1986 after graduating from agricultural college. My fiancé, daughter, and I now cash crop farm with my two Nephews and run an elevator drying operation on the farm. I’ve been a councillor on the Huron County Pork producer’s association for almost 30 years and served as President in 1997. I was a Director on the Hensall Co-op Board from 1993 until 2002 serving as President in 1999 and again in 2000. In 2014 I was re-elected back on to the Hensall Co-op Board and am currently the Vice President.
