Members are invited to come to the Hay Communications Annual General Meeting.
If you are not currently a member of the co-op, and want to take part in the meeting, including voting, either fill in the form below or call the office at 519-236-4333. There is a $1 fee to become a member. You must have an account with Hay and a networked service such as TV, internet or telephone.

Election of Directors
The terms for current Directors Don Beauchamp and Jack Glavin will be complete at this meeting. Both Don and Jack have indicated they will stand for re-election. See their Bios below.
If you are a member of the Co-operative, meet the other qualifications for election and are interested in becoming a candidate, please email hay@hay.net to request a nomination form.

Jack Glavin
My name is Jack Glavin. I was born and raised on a farm in the Centralia area. I have a daughter, two sons, and five grandchildren. I now live just outside of Exeter.
In 1978 I started a small painting company and for the next 40 years my sons and I built the business into a major cleaning and coating corporation. In 2017 we painted the International border bridge in Sault Ste. Marie. I am very proud of that accomplishment.
November 2018 my sons took over the company and I am now retired. I’ve been a director on the Hay Communications board for the past three years.
Don Beauchamp
I was born in Zurich and married a local girl, Elaine (nee) Masse. We have 4 children who all live less than an hour away from us and blessed us with 9 grandchildren. I play the guitar, enjoy watching baseball and hockey and I like to golf mostly at the local White Squirrel Club.
I retired in March of 1987. but wanted to give back to our community for all the support they gave us during our time as business owners in Zurich.
I now volunteer at the Bluewater Rest Home, Entertaining the seniors by operating a G-model train set in the courtyard as well as playing guitar on occasion and holding a Karaoke Country & Western show!
From 2017 to present I have enjoyed my time on the Board of Directors with Hay Communications, serving as Chairman during the 2021 year. This is a wonderful and great learning experience for me!
My previous work experience
From 1976 to 1984 – I owned and operated a local grocery store “Don’s Food Market” which expanded to Hensall in 1980.
From 1987 to 2017 I worked as a Sales Representative for Andex Metal Products in Exeter. I maintained 6 counties for Andex.
