Putting our BEST Features Forward
Devices you can Mix and Match for Streaming TV

One of the best features about our Xstream TV service is that you can mix and match your devices. You can stream on your mobile device, on your Smart TV or on a streaming device on your TV. You can even watch on a web browser. (xstream.hay.net)

No matter where you record a program, you can watch it on any of your devices. Some channels even allow you to record at home and watch it on the road, anywhere in Canada! The service is that flexible.

Does your streaming device need replaced?

In fact, it may not be only when your device stops working completely, but perhaps when it stops working as intended. How can you tell?

Device manufacturers like Amazon and Apple launch new versions of their devices every few years. Using a device that is 2 or 3 generations old may be your first clue your device needs to be replaced. A device may start to show signs it’s “tired” with frequent freezes or “thinking” for a very long time. It starts “slowing down”.

Other signs include intermittent power loss, constant crashing and overall poor network connectivity issues. Your device may not immediately turn on or could come up with a black screen.

If you have to constantly power-cycle your streaming device, it is not functioning as it should and will likely need replaced shortly. If you are renting an EVO Force box from Hay, we will replace your device if it starts to fail.

The winners of the “Find the Dragonfly” draw were: Kathleen Roulston – $100, Trish Bray – $50 and Stacey Kirk – $25. Congratulations to these Hay Communications’ customers.

Our new gigabit packages offer unparalleled speeds. This will allow businesses to expand without the need to relocate and ensure homes have sufficient bandwidth for any new trends. Adopting new technologies will no longer be hindered by connection speeds. Whether it’s virtual reality, video conferencing, online gaming, or remote education and work, our service ensures a seamless and reliable experience. “We are being proactive in addressing the present and future connectivity needs of our customers.” Angela Lawrence, General Manager at Hay Communications.

Over the past 20 years, our expanding fibre network has laid the groundwork for this achievement. “Our network technicians have been working on this project for the last year upgrading fibre optic equipment and the core fibre network to the broader world wide web.
